A rain forecast does not automatically mean a window-cleaning appointment needs to be cancelled. The decision depends on the conditions at your property, the work planned and whether it can be completed safely and effectively.

A short shower and a day of heavy, wind-driven rain are different situations. Exposure, wind and access all matter. The cleaning team should assess the conditions rather than relying on a blanket rule.

Why windows can look dirty after wet weather
Water can carry dirt onto glass from surrounding surfaces, and wind can bring airborne dust into contact with wet windows. How the glass looks afterwards depends on the conditions and the property.
This is why a forecast alone cannot tell you how long a clean will last. Sheltered windows and exposed glass can look quite different after the same weather event.
